Need Help With Social Bookmarking?
If you’re reading this post, you are most likely an internet marketer searching for information and help in how to more efficiently run your business. I’d like to share something with you that I think is pretty neat. I’ve been using Social Monkee for quite awhile now and like it every more now that it has given me even more options.
Social Monkee has three ways to use their product: there is a free tool and will submit your URL to 25 sites a day. You are able to submit only 3 URLs a day to Social Monkee, but if you are consistent, and make this a daily task, it won’t take very long before you have built up quite a few backlinks to your site by using this free method.
Another option is to upgrade to the platinum version for a one-time cost of $47. For this upgrade, you are able to submit your 3 URLs/day to 100 sites. That’s 300 submissions a day! Do the math on that – builds up quite quickly with the Platinum version.
Just recently, Social Monkee opened up a third option was launched. This is available for the Platinum members who want to ramp up their submissions for backlinks to the tune of 150 submissions per URL. You are still limited to only 3 URLs each day, but again, if you are consistent with this as a daily task, this builds incredibly fast. There are other benefits to this Platinum to Elite upgrade.
I’m not sure how long this is third upgrade is going to be available for a one-time cost of $57, but I just got it and am glad that I did.
I started with the free version, and after seeing how easy it was to work with, I quickly upgraded to Platinum. There are reports available as the URL is submitted so you can see exactly where your link sits.

Another Year In Internet Marketing
Can it possibly be a year since I last wrote on my blog? “Time flies when you’re having fun”, they say. Well, the time has certainly flown by, but the latter part of that saying doesn’t really fit.
It’s been an active year, to be sure, of buying many products that seemed promising to help us push our online business upward and onward to the land of financial independence. Each one of the many products inferred their promise to get us there by following their program to the letter.
Without going into gory detail, let me just put it this way – we recently bought another product. Need I say more??
But, quitters we are not! We are persevering and WILL succeed one of these days which we truly feel is getting closer and closer to becoming our reality.
Both of us have had our own offline businesses in the past; we have managed employees; we have built up our databases of clients and customers to impressively successful businesses that afforded us very nice lifestyles. But we are now, and have been since the beginning, still challenged by learning “how to crack the nut” of a consistent, reliable, substantial income from our online business.
I recognize that we are in good company, however. Remember old Thomas Edison? The story goes that he persisted through 10,000 failed efforts to discover the electric light bulb. With each failure, he was not thwarted in his efforts. Instead, he said that he just succeeded to learn a new way that his invention won’t work and pressed on towards his mark.
That’s how we feel. We will continue to press on towards our mark. There are too many very successful people whose sole livelihood is derived from their online business, and we know that we are just as dedicated, just as intelligent, just as driven, just as deserving, just as talented, and just as bull-headed as any of these folks to give up. Some of them have even admitted that the road to their success was something like our road behind us as it pertains to the amount of products they bought and tried in order to build an online business and that their success took them a few years to achieve, also.
As you notice, I am not sharing what we have attempted so far in our online business efforts because what we have found challenging and unfruitful, others have used and found their dreams. It seems to be a very personal and individual endeavor to “get us there”, regardless of who the “us” is and regardless of what the “there” is.
So, what has not worked for us may be just what is or will work for you. Let us not taint your success with our stories of “un-success” – so far, anyway. Sometimes, we go back and re-visit one of the programs that we looked at before only to find that NOW their lessons are more pertinent to what we’re doing probably because our understanding and experience have grown to the point where we can appreciate how that program would now apply to our current process.
There have been times when we would buy someone’s product knowing that it won’t fit into our system right now, but there is good value in it for what we anticipate doing in the future. They are figuratively “sitting on the shelf” in my Documents Folder on my computer waiting to be resurrected in the future when we say “Ahhh, you are JUST what we need to use right now!”
We are not giving up. Perish the thought! We are just getting warmed up! One of these days – soon, I hope – I’ll be posting about our long-awaited success and what we found that got us there. In the meantime, let’s all just keep pushing through to the light at the end of the tunnel! I hear it’s lovely there!
