Shopping For A Shopping Cart For Our Internet Marketing Product
As I’m sure you already know, or you are finding out as you progress through your internet marketing business, there are a lot of individual pieces that go into putting out a product online. Just when we thought we were in good shape, we discovered that the program we had for our product delivery was not our complete answer.
We are delivering our product now in both physical format and in digital format. I pictured that the two products would be described in our sales video, and when it came time to buy, the customer would click the buy button and be taken to a page where both items were featured. A product to be purchased would be selected with a click of the mouse in one box or the other. A downsell product would also be available for a much lower price.
Didn’t sound complicated to us, but when it came right down to the nuts and bolts, we were not going to get this layout in the shopping cart that we were signed up to use. I’d rather not name names right now in the slight chance that I was misunderstanding the support person that told me today that I couldn’t have what I wanted.
There might be an answer through another source, and I will find out later today if it’s available to us. Wish us luck.
So, we have designed our product, have the squeeze page all ready to go, have the sales video all done, have Aweber in place with the optin button on the squeeze page, so what’s left? Get the shopping cart issue resolved, and get the final details in place with the order fulfillment company.
The final part of the process is to market the product in such a way that we can determine some conversion numbers which will look really good to our JV partners and makes them want to grab it up to promote to their own lists. Kevin and I know that this product will deliver the goods to the customers and that the numbers will be really good – we just need to establish that information for others to see.
As soon as the product is finished and is ready to face the world, I will tell you what it is and how to find it. Until then, it’s still behind the curtain, the crowd is swelling to see it and be able to buy it, our fellow marketers are asking when will it be ready, and the anticipation is building.
